Sleeping Problems

Sleeping problems involve difficulties related to sleep and can include bedwetting, sleep walking, sleep talking, waking often, night terrors and difficulty falling asleep. Neurofeedback training has been used successfully to assist these disorders. The first reported signs of change upon initiating EEG training, is improvement in the quality of sleep.

Individuals with problems sleeping may experience:

  • elimination of mental chatter in your brain
  • decreased levels of anxiety
  • ease in falling asleep;
  • ability to maintaining sleep during the night
  • ease in waking from sleep
  • feeling rested after sleep
  • physically rested sleep
  • elimination of nightmares
  • elimination of bedwetting (Nocturnal enuresis)
  • elimination of sleepwalking
  • Bruxism - teeth grinding during sleep
  • elimination of sleep terrors - Abrupt arousal with intense fear, difficult to awaken, no dream recall or memory of event
  • regulated sleep patterns/cycles (circadian rhythms)
